Our Team

At Light and Hope Mission, our dedicated team works tirelessly to fulfill our mission of providing relief and hope to widows, orphans, and the homeless, while spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each member brings unique skills, passion, and a deep commitment to serving those in need. Below is our organizational structure, designed to ensure that our efforts are effectively coordinated and that we remain focused on our objectives.

Organizational Chart

  1. Board of Directors

    • Chairperson: Provides strategic oversight and leadership, ensuring that the NGO adheres to its mission and values.
    • Vice Chairperson: Supports the Chairperson and steps in during their absence.
    • Treasurer: Oversees financial management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
    • Secretary: Maintains records, schedules meetings, and manages communication within the board.
    • Board Members: Provide governance, strategic direction, and support in various areas of expertise.
  2. Advisors

    • Offer expert guidance and insights on various aspects of the organization’s work.
  3. Investment Committees

    • Responsible for managing and overseeing the financial investments to ensure sustainable funding for the organization’s programs.
  4. Executive Leadership

    • Executive Director: JIL BIYNAH
      • Leads the overall operations of the NGO, responsible for implementing the strategic plan, managing the team, and representing the organization in public and private forums.
  5. Program Management

    • Program Director for Widows’ Support: Oversees all initiatives related to supporting widows, including financial assistance, counseling, and advocacy.
    • Program Director for Orphan Care: Manages programs focused on orphans, including shelter, education, and health services.
    • Program Director for Homeless Assistance: Leads efforts to provide shelter, food, and rehabilitation for the homeless population.
    • Program Director of Evangelism and Outreach: The Director of Evangelism and Outreach is responsible for leading and coordinating the organization’s efforts to spread the gospel and engage communities globally. 
  6. Field Operations

    • Regional Coordinators: (Africa, Asia, America, Europe)
      • Coordinate field operations and ensure that programs are effectively implemented in their respective regions.
    • Field Officers: Work directly with local communities, partners, and beneficiaries to deliver aid and monitor progress.
  7. Communications and Outreach

    • Communications Director: Manages public relations, social media, and content creation, ensuring that our message reaches a broad audience.
    • Outreach Coordinator: Develops partnerships with other organizations, churches, and communities to expand our reach and impact.
  8. Finance and Administration

    • Finance Manager: Handles all financial transactions, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
    • Human Resources Manager: Manages recruitment, staff welfare, and organizational development.
    • Administrative Assistant: Supports the team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and logistics.
  9. Volunteer and Donor Relations

    • Volunteer Coordinator: Recruits, trains, and manages volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to contribute effectively.
    • Donor Relations Manager: Builds and maintains relationships with donors, ensuring they are informed about the impact of their contributions.
